Mother would be; Mary Russell b. 1765 m. 1794.
David R. married Sarah E. (unknown last name) probably around 1830-1833 in Tennessee. Probably Giles Co. They were living there before coming to Texas and settling in the Augusta Community, Houston Co, Texas.
They had three recorded children in 1850 Tennessee Census
1. Nancy Elizabeth
2. Zacheus C.
3. Mary F.
The Zacheus Wilson who was father of David Russell Wilson died in 1842 in Williamson Co., TN. There is a will and estate records on file in Williamson County. The Zacheus Wilson who died in Henderson County was a cousin of the other Zacheus. He was the son of Major David Wilson who died in Sumner Co., TN in 1803. There are DAR records from early years that got these two confused, and it has really caused a lot of problems for serious Wilson researchers. I noticed the mother's name, which is also incorrect. Another one of those problems. Zacheus Wilson, 1765-1842, was married to Mary Russell, not Margaret. Estate records for her father David Russell in Mecklenburg Co., NC show that in 1806 Zacheus and Mary Wilson signed for their share. Mary had a sister Margaret, but she was not married to a Wilson.
