Village Resident Dies Following A
Five Months' Illness

Funeral Services are Conducted At
Local Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tillie Johnson were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the Long Prairie Baptist church with Rev. Wesley Johnson officiating. Internment was made in Evergreen cemetery. Pallbearers were Jesse Hall, Barney Carroll, George Wolf, A.J. Pfefferle, Harry Diebel and Clyde Wildman.
Mrs. Johnson passed away early Monday morning at the Long Prairie hospital, death being due to cancer, from which she had been suffering for the past five months.
Tillie Baker was born March 30, 1881, at Chilton, Wis., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baker. She came to Todd County when a young girl. On May 12, 1898, she was married to Avery Johnson. To this union were born three children, Orrin B. Johnson, of Long Prairie, Mrs. Henry Richardson (Nora), of Mora, who survive and Miss Alamanza Johnson, who passed away Oct. 28, 1933. Mr. Johnson passed away June 28, 1911.
