Anna Belle Kessinger Oilar, 79, of Lafayette, died at 6:45 PM Saturday, Feb. 9,
2002, in her daughter's residence. She was born March 27, 1922, in Portland
Mills, and spent her life in Lafayette. She graduated from Wea High School in
1941. She married Kenneth R. Oilar on Feb. 9, 1947, and he preceded her in death
Sept. 25, 1993.

Mrs. Oilar was a legal secretary for Hanly Hammel, Attorney-at-Law and worked
previously for Kirby Risk and Yorkshire Club. She was a member of Evergreen
Wesleyan Church of Lafayette. She enjoyed traveling, the Senior Center and
entering all types of contests.

Surviving are a son, John R. Oilar (wife Diane Haffner Oilar) of Crawfordsville;
a daughter, Fay (Mrs. Paul) McKillip of West Lafayette; a brother, John C.
Kessinger of Crawfordsville; three grandsons, Paul McKillip II of Colfax,
Patrick McKillip and Phillip McKillip, both of West Lafayette; and two
great-granddaughters, Paige and Kourtney McKillip of Colfax. Her greatest
accomplishments were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by a sister, Margaret Teshima. Graveside services Feb. 12, the Rev. Joseph
Park, Jr. officiating; burial in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
