George Dallas Mainard was the son of Levi & Katharine French Mainard. He married four times.

1) 17 Mar 1864, Moultrie County, Illinois to Arminta Long, who died in 1873, with no memorial.
2) 4 Jan 1875, Edgar County, Illinois to Mary Hyden, who died about Jan 1900, no memorial.
3) 16 Jun 1904, Paris, Edgar County, Illinois to Lydia Starr.
4) 14 Apr 1910, Edgar County, Illinois to Nellie Callahan.

He only had children with Arminta and Mary Hyden.

GEORGE MAYNARD
George Maynard, a life long resident of Edgar County, passed away at 9 o'clock Sat. [3/25/1922] evening after an illness of more than 2 months. The family home was on West Garfield street many years and the deceased was well known to all the residents of the community.
The deceased had been a faithful member of the Christian church for nearly 50 years, and the funeral was held from the church this morning at 10 o'clock.
Many years ago the deceased was united in marriage with Miss Nellie Callahan, who survives him with the following children: Mrs. Frank Newport, Indianapolis; Mrs. Rosa De Mougin, Grandview; Mrs. Martha Glover, New York; Bert, of Terre Haute; Gordon, Indianapolis, and George William Manning of Horace.
The interment was in Edgar Cem.
