Evelyn Jean Thomas, 83, of Williamsport, passed away on August 17, 2017. She was born on August 22, 1933, in Pickaway County, to Burt and Virginia (Skaggs) Francis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Harry Davidson and second husband Cleveland Wilson Thomas and by siblings Kathleen Rigsby and Robert Francis. Evelyn is survived by her children George (Nikki) Marcum, Jeffery (Pat) Davidson, Sue Ann (Butch) Sowers, Bonnie Sowers, Wilma Jean Thomas, Maria (Tom) Thomas and Lisa Ann (Paul) Shepherd and by sisters Marilyn Ferguson and Betty Burgraff. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Springlawn Cemetery, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Wellman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
