Jeramy C. Childers, 19, Rio, passed away just after midnight (11/30/03).
He was born January 10, 1984 in Galesburg, the son of Jeffrey and Alice S. Beaird-Childers.
Surviving are his parents of Rio; A Brother, Justin Childers of Rio; A Grandfather, James McMillion of Kileen, Texas, and Grandparents, Ron and Donna Childers of Galesburg, and his Great-Grandmother, Harriet Rusk of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by a Grandmother, Barbara McMillion, and a Grandfather, Charles J. Beaird.
He was a 2002 Graduate of ROWVA High School, where he was active in FFA, spent 2 years in the Marching Band, and lettered in Football and Track.
He was currently attending Carl Sandburg College.
He worked in the Produce Department at HyVee Food Store in Galesburg for 3 years.
He was a member of the AWANA Youth Program at Bethel Baptist Church, Cub Scouts Troop 123 of Rio, and Boy Scouts Troop 207 in Galesburg.
Funeral commenced at 10 a.m. at the Hinchliff Pearson West Chapel, Galesburg, with the Rev. Kirk Kendall officiating.
Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
