Kenneth Fitzwater, 87, of Indore, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012.

Born June 28, 1924 in Fola. He was the son of the late Jesse and Della Fitzwater. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Reba Legg, Madeline Bell and Maxine Smith, brother, Rufus Fitzwater, Donald Fitzwater and Bill Joe Fitzwater.

He was a WWII Veteran and was retired from the coal mines and was a lumber mill worker and carpenter. Kenneth was a Christian having previously attended the Fola Baptist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his sister Wanda Morene Outten, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay with Minister Paul Stepp officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 Thursday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
