The death of Mrs. Louise Patin, nee Bouche, which occurred Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, will be generally deplored. This estimable lady has been prominent for many years in religious circles. She was in her 81st year, having been born on the 22d of May, 1817. She was a native of Berlin, Prussia, and came to this country at an early age. For more than thirty years she was a member of the Unitarian church in this city, having been one of its founders. She took a prominent part in all its meetings, and cherished among her most prized recollections the fact that she had in all the period of her membership omitted scarcely one service.
The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the religious ceremonies taking place at the Unitarian church. The Rev. Walter C. Peirce, pastor of that church, delivered a touching discourse, in which he paid a high and deserved tribute to her many amiable characteristics. He dwelt especially upon her strongly religious nature and eulogized her connection with that church. Mrs. Patin leaves several relatives, among them Mr. Harry H. Patin, of the Daily States, Who is well and widely known to the profession in this city.
