He was born in Hancock County, was retired from Quasar Oil Co., and was a member of Old Panther Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Flora Myrl Huff; 2 sons, Dennie Huff of Knottsville and the Rev. Sam Huff of Pineville; 2 daughters, Sandra Marshall and Dee Dee Jackson, both of Rte. 2, Hawesville; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Huff of Knottsville; and 2 sisters, Thelma Newton of Roseville and Marnie Boling of Cicero, IL. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cecil Funeral Home, Whitesville. Burial in Pellville Cemetery. Visitation after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
