John D. Poston, 89, of Saint Louis, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at St. Anthonys De Graff Hospice center in Saint Louis.
He was born May 19, 1921 in Whitewater, to John L. and Lena Sprengel Poston. John grew up in Whitewater before working at Leming Lumber Company for years, he then moved to St. louis where he began working for Bemis Bag Company for 38 years.
John was a member of the Whitewater Masonic Lodge #417 for 67 years where he practiced the Scottish Rite for 50 years.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Order Of The Eastern Star.
