He is preceded in death by his parents Edward Baltes and Maria Stearns.
He is survived by his wife Mary Baltes of Natalia; son: Richard Baltes of Natalia; daughter: Suzette Barshay of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2009 from 2pm until 9pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Funeral Service will be held 10am Tuesday, December 01, 2009 at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Masonic graveside services will follow, under the auspices of Devine Masonic Lodge #590 A.F. & A. M., in Evergreen Cemetery.
