Cardwell, Viola Ball ,age 85 of Maryville, went to her heavenly home September 4, 2005 with her family by her side.

She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Cardwell was born September 18, 1919 to Arch Ball and Haley Cogdill Ball her mother and father. Also preceding her in death her husband Jack Robert Cardwell, grandson Earl Reed, and brothers Tillery, Elmer, Carl, and Raymond Ball.

Survivors, daughters and sons in law, Mary Ruth and Tommy Orr, Dorothy Faye, and Charles Garrett. Betty Jean Reed, Josephine Raye Cardwell, son and daughter in law Carl Edward and Barbara Cardwell all of Maryville. Nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren. Sister Trula Shultz Brown. Brothers Zelmar, Clyde, and Delmar Ball all of Sevierville. A host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 3:00 pm Wednesday September 7, 2005 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers, Charles Garrett, Tommy Orr, Donald Cardwell, Terry Orr, Derrick Hill, and Donald Reed. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, TN.
