Marie Wilhelmine Dorothee Koopmann was the daughter of Johann Christian Wilhelm Koopmann and Sophie Wilhelmine Radensleben of Germany.

She married Christian Lehman on 31 Oct 1894 in Nebraska.

Mrs. Minnie Lehman.

Mrs. Minnie Lehman (nee Koopman) was born in Hanover, Germany on Dec 13, 1876 and passed away January 8, 1970 at Tabitha Home in Lincoln at the age of 93 years old, 26 days. she came to American as a young girl and made her home with an Uncle and Aunt, in Saunders county near Wahoo, Nebraska. She was Baptismed and confirmed in Germany and at the time of her death was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Ithaca.

On October 31, 1894, she was united in marriage to Christian Lehman. One son, William was born to this union. They lived on a farm west of Wahoo, until 1903 when they moved south of Ithaca. here they lived and labored until 1937, at which time they retired to Ithaca, Nebraska. In 1939, they moved to Wahoo. In September 1964, she became a resident of Tabitha Home in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1942, and her son in 1962.

Survivors include a daughter in law, Ruth Lehman of Lincoln, a grandson, Orville of Des Plaines, Ill., a granddaughter, Helen of Lincoln, four great grandchildren, a niece, a nephew and many friends.

Funeral services were held at Tabathia Chapel Monday, January 17, 1970 at 10:30 am with Rev. G.T. Monson and Rev. Lorin J. Wolff officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Martha Mosemon and Mrs. Rose Manesch accompanied by Dorothy Peterson. Casket bearers were George Otto, Ernest Otto, dick Flessner, Adolph Niedfelt, Otto Keeker and Albert O Otto. Ericson Helt Funeral home took charge of the arrangements. Interment was to Sunrise Cemetery.
