CHARLESTON - John C. Durr, 76, of North Charleston went to be with Jesus on May 13, 2012.

John was a talented painter and carpenter. He enjoyed the Gamecocks and Redskin football. He enjoyed fishing, western movies and country music. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was a great provider for his family. We knew this day was coming but it doesn't help the pain. We know that now our lives will never be the same. Now heaven is your home, with Jesus you will be. We take comfort in knowing that your face again we will see.
