Doris Allen Daniel, 84, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, at a local care center.
Doris was born in Norton on May 16, 1927, to Bob and Ina Allen.
She married her high school sweetheart, Travis, and they were together 61 years.
She began her 35-year career in banking in Ballinger and after moving to Fort Worth in 1948 continued her career at West Side State Bank, where she became one of the bank's first woman officers. She retired in 1987.
She was predeceased by her husband, Travis.
Survivors include daughter, Deb Levitt and husband, John; son, Rob Daniel and wife, September; granddaughters, Lori King and husband, Brent, and Katlyn Levitt; brothers, Rowland Allen and Gary Don Allen and wife, Kathy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service: 11 am Tuesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
