Larry Eugene Crittenden was born on April 12, 1948 in Chewey, OK the son of Samson and Polly (Fields) Crittenden. He graduated from Kansas High School. Larry was a carpenter by trade, often working in the family business. He was also employed by Simmons in Siloam Springs, AR for 17 years. He was a loving father and grandfather. When he wasn't working, he loved to travel with some of his favorite destinations being Branson, Tunica, and North Carolina, tagging along with his companion, Louella. He loved to bowl and was privileged to represent OK in the bowling leagues in Knoxville, TN along with his son. Larry never missed a softball game that featured "Pops Boys", his team of sons and grandsons. There was no such thing as a bad game of marbles, and he enjoyed any meal he tried at a new eating establishment. His favorite was "Panda's". There he could relax with his family and try something new. Larry, simply put, enjoyed the simple things in life. His children, grandchildren, and companion Louella were all he needed in life. He had the most wonderful sense of humor and could make you smile with his easy going outlook on life. Even as his health began to fail, Larry still found time to keep up on his grandchildren's events. A Christian by faith, Larry was a life long member of Long Prairie Baptist Church in Kansas. The Lord called Larry home from his labors on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Tulsa, OK with his family by his side. Larry had just celebrated his 64th birthday. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, Samson, his mother, Polly, and his only brother, Gary Crittenden in January of this year.

Larry's legacy lives on in his fourteen grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, his church family at Long Prairie, and a host of friends and loved ones.
