Dorothy was the youngest child in a family of 13 siblings, 10 brothers and two sisters. Her older sister, Helen Sande Johnston, of Everett, survives her.
She was confirmed and married at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood where her memorial service will be held April 3, 2012 at 1pm. Graveside services will be held at Anderson Cemetery at 11.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Career and Technical Department at Stanwood High School, 7400 272nd St NW Stanwood, WA 98292.
