Ludington Daily News, 11 May 1935: "LONG ILLNESS ENDS FOR MRS. ANDERSON Mrs. John Anderson, 71, died early this morning at ther home., 502 East Danaher street, after an illness of more than two years. Five weeks ago she suffered a paralytic stroke and since that time had been confined to her bed. Inga Lena Johnson was born in Stravalla, Holland, Sweden, Feb. 13, 1864, and came directly to Ludington from Sweden in 1876. She was married here Aug. 15, 1885, to John Anderson and had she lived until August, the couple would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Peter Fredrickson and Mrs. N. M. Elliott and three sons, Justus, Enock and Richard Anderson; eight grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Frank Johnson, and a brother, Andrew Johnson. The body, which was taken to Dorrell funeral home, will be removed to the family residence Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon from Emanuel Lutheran church with Rev. J. A. Landin officiating. Burial will be made in Lakeview cemetery.
