Troyce McLane, 67, passed away Saturday, June 12, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 19, 1942, in Mount Vernon, the son of Earnest McLane and Lynna Holt McLane. They preceded him in death.
He married Patsy Tubb in Dike on June 2, 1962.
Mr. McLane was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes with other model enthusiasts.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonja Christopherson of Dayton, Texas; one brother, Royce McLane of Dallas; one sister, Carolyn Sue Rowe of Sulphur Springs; one grandchild, Taylor Shea Christopherson; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Tina Watt of Sulphur Springs, a special caregiver during Mr. McLane's illness.
Mr. McLane was also preceded in death by one son, Troyce Shawn McLane, in 1986.
