Twila was born August 31, 1938 in Munjor, Kansas. She entered eternal rest on May 2, 2012 in Vancouver, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Earl.
Survivors include four children, Joyce Bender (Jack Bender), Cindy Campbell (Emad Soubh), John Campbell (Diane Campbell) and James Campbell (Marti Campbell); in addition to two sisters and two brothers. She was also blessed by her pride and joy, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was generous and loving in her actions and deeds and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Twila's life was scheduled for May 26, 2012 at St. Charles Borremeo Catholic Church, 5310 NE 42nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon with Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Memorial Mass of Celebration. Private interment was at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver, Washington.
The family requests donations be given in Twila's name to The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center, 8383 NE Sandy Blvd., Suite 205, Portland, OR 97220-4967. Twila volunteered regularly at the counseling center for many years and was an avid supporter.
