Was born in the State of Missouri in 1848 (Town unknown) He moved out to Nevada in the late 1860's settling in Gold Hill where he worked as a miner. He was killed in a mining accident in the Caledonia Mine on Feb. 19th 1870 at age 21 and was laid to rest in the Gold Hill cemetery.
His grave marker has been stolen by vandals.
