Mrs. Mattie J. Dunlap, widow of the late Daniel Dunlap, died at her home on Orchard Street, Blairsville, at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon following a week's illness. A former resident of Derry Township, she had lived in Blairsville for the past 13 years. Her husband, a farmer and a thresher man, died in 1909. Mrs. Dunlap was born at Polk Run, September 12, 1848, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elwood. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are the following sons and daughter: Frank W. Dunlap, James B. Dunlap, Edward D. Dunlap and Gilbert H. Dunlap, all of Derry Township; Nolan L. Dunlap, of Latrobe; Elmer R. Dunlap, of Blairsville; and Mrs. Della McKlveen, of Greensburg. Twenty-eight grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Ferguson Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of the Rev. J.C. Stuart, pastor of the Blairsville Presbyterian Church. Interment will be made in the Blairsville Cemetery.

*Martha's Husband Daniel was born on December 2, 1844 in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Daniel also Fought in The Civil War with Company C 11th Regiment of The Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
Daniel died from a Cerebral Hemorrhage on October 22 1909 in Derry, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on October 25, 1909 in the Blairsville Cemetery.
*Martha married Daniel Dunlap on March 27 1870. They were married by Reverend Harry Bain from Ohio.
