WILLIAM MAINQUIST SERVICES MONDAY
Funeral services for William Mainquist 74, of South Omaha were held Monday afternoon, March 7 at the Bethesda Lutheran Church. He died Thursday, March 5, at the Clarkson Hospital, in Omaha of heart trouble and complications after a four moths illness and had been seriously ill the past week.
Rev. Raynold Lingwall officiated at the service with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
The son of Andrew P. and Christina Mainquist, he was born April 24, 1874 in Red Oak and had lived in Montgomery County until moving to South Omaha in 1932. Before leaving this community he was a farmer and livestock dealer on a farm south of Red Oak. After moving to South Omaha he had been employed by a livestock commission firm.He married Josephine Larson August 21, 1901. She died October 12, 1921. He is survived by three sons, Richard of Red Oak, Russell and Allen of South Omaha, and one daughter, Mrs. Louise Ackles and two grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Joel Lungren of Omaha, Mrs. Nathan Lungren of Griswold, and Mrs. Bernard Seaburg of Red Oak and a brother, Arthur E. Mainquist of Lenox.
