From the Evergreen Funeral Home, May 11, 2012:

Refugio M. "June" Richardson-Prunchak passed away on May 6, 2012. Born
March 30, 1928 in Wellington, Kansas, June lived in the Colorado Springs area for 58
years. She provided day care in her home for 46 years and had just recently retired.

June was proceeded in death by her first husband, Everett Richardson;
granddaughter Kellie Finley; and sisters Carmen Cornejos and Lucille Hall. She is
survived by husband Charles "Chuck" Prunchak; children Louis (Shelly) Richardson,
Sandy Richardson, Douglas (Liz) Richardson, Gina (Jeff) Vaughan; step-daughter
Cheryl Johnson; brothers Moises Esparza, Angel Esparza, and Alex Esparza; ten
grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Blunt Mortuary on Saturday, May 12 at 10:30
a.m. with Pastor Tom Monteith officiating. Interment will be at Crystal Valley Cemetery
immediately following the service.

June had a smile and a hug for anyone. She will be remembered for her bubbly
personality, optimistic outlook, and faith in the Lord.
