Betty Jo Lee Steakley age 54, passed away on Monday, May 07, 2012 at her home in LaFollette. She was born July 10, 1957 in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Jim Lee and Anna Mae Wells Bowman. She was a Member of the Branam Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Stepfather: Barton Bowman; Daughter: Sharon Elizabeth Steakley; Brother: Jessie James Lee; Sister: Barbara Goins; Grandfather: Joe Wells.
She is survived by her husband Hubert Steakley, Sr., of LaFollette; Children: Hubert Steakley, Jr. and wife Lori, Joseph Steakley and wife Jessica, Christy Steakley Myers and Fiancé Samuel Tackett and Daniel Ray Steakley and wife Bridgette; (14) Grandchildren; Brother: Jimmy Lee, Barton Bowman, Jr.; Sister: Patricia Steakley and Linda Bratcher; Special thanks to Amy Bolton; several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the Little Charity Ministries in Oneida, with Bro. Joseph Steakley and Bro. Tony Orick Officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Campbell County, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be the Grandsons and Nephews.
