LOUIS J. GUYER, 75, OF LOST NATION, IS LAID TO HIS REST
Lost Nation, Ia., May 24. - Funeral services for Louis Johnson Guyer, 75, were held in the Union church Sunday afternoon, the Rev. E. J. Braun, officating. Burial was in the Union cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Emil Rutenbeck, William Riggeberg, J. E. Gilroy, Julius Adrian, W. C. Rutenbeck and Elmer Hoff.
Mr. Guyer was born Dec. 14, 1861, in Rushville, Va., a son of Jacob and Mary Guyer. He was married Feb. 3, 1887, to Elizabeth Catherine Frank. Five years later they came here and Mr. Guyer was employed by the Milwaukee railroad 14 years until four years ago he retired. He is survived by his wife, two children, Mrs. Cordia Jansen, Lost Nation; a son, Floyd, Sabula; seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Coffman, Goshen, Ind.
