Services for Mrs. Clara Bell Vass, 83, Brookfield Manor Nursing Home, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fuqua -Hinton Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Vass died at 3:40 a.m. today at Jennie Stuart Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Marshall County, she was born Oct. 8, 1892, the daughter of Finis and Minnie Gates Bivin. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the widow of Forrest Vass, who died in 1955.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Harold Waltman, this city, and Mrs. Otho Gresham, Christian County; and several nieces and nephews.
