Rosa (Rosina) Wyss came to the U.S. in 1894, traveling with her sister and Mother. Her Mother was Magdelena Stoller 1835-1905 and her Father was Christen Wyss 1836-1889. She had several siblings in the states; Marianne Wyss, Margaritha Wyss, Magdelena Wyss and Christian Wyss to name a few. She moved to Green County, Wisconsin and married Emil Kempfer. To them 7 boys were born.
Family stories say she was a gifted singer and would travel to Milwaukee to sing with her sister Magdelena.
