Jacob Schooler, 78, retired farmer, died Monday at 2:30 p.m. at his home, 469 N. Main St. following a long illness.
Born May 22,1866 in Bladensburg, he was the son of William & Eleanor Schooler. Surviving are his widow, formerly Pearl Hughes whom he married Dec. 2,1911; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Heckler of the home; two sons, David Schooler of Utica, and Wallace Schooler with the U S Army Air Corps in Delhart Texas; two grandchildren and his twin sister, Mrs. Zillah Wilson of Byesville.
The deceased was a member of the Utica Presbyterian Church and services will be held there Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. H O Stevens officiating. Burial will be made in Martinsburg.
