He was born in Kentucky n July 25, 1936. His parents were the late Murray and Sudie (Boling) Burns. Also preceding him in death were his sons, Richard Dale Burns and Joseph Allen Burns and several brothers and sisters.
Clyde married Helen Bolin on September 5, 1988 in Kentucky.
He had formerly worked at Swiss Plywood, Tell City Chair Company and National Southwire Aluminum. He enjoyed riding his bike, fishing and spending time with his dogs.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 31, 2007, at Huber Funeral Home-Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Boling Chapel Cemetery in Hancock County, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
