Graduate of Dedham High School 2004. Graduate of Mt. Ida College 2008. Assistant football coach at Curry College for one year. Assistant football coach at Maine Maritime Academy for two years. Member of The American Football Coaches Association. Late employee of Dedham Parks and Recreation Dept.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham Friday at 10AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 3-8PM. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Richard E. Dykas Scholarship fund C/O Dedham Institute for Savings 55 Elm St. Dedham, MA 02026.
