James M. Gearin, 84, of Union City, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services for Mr. Gearin were held Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Greenfield. Burial followed in Mount Hermon Cemetery in Greenfield.
Mr. Gearin was an employee of the State of Tennessee working for the Highway Department. He was born July 11, 1924 in Greenfield to the late Fonnie Gearin and Roxie May.
Mr. Gearin is survived by his wife, Mildred (Curd) Gearin of Union City; and a sister, Geraldine Hawkins of Lakeland, Tennessee.
