He was born In Germany, and came to "the United States in 1868.
In 1869 he married Miss Catherine Rieger, and the next year the couple moved to their Stockbridge farm, where Mr. Zeigen lived for the rest of his life.
Survivors are the widow and the following children: Julius of Milwaukee, August at home, and Mrs. John, town of Stockbridge.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning c.t St. Mary church in this city by the Rev. H. E. Hunck. Burial will be made In St. Mary cemetery.
