Ned A. Webster, 69, of Ashland passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born Feb. 15, 1943 in Ashland, the son of Daniel S. and Margery E. Arnold Webster.
Ned attended Ohio University and graduated from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in Syracuse, N.Y. He was a funeral director and had been a surveyor for the Ohio Department of Transportation and held various sales positions with Rockwell International.
Ned was an avid sports enthusiast enjoying trap shooting, hunting, fishing, golfing, reading and nature. He was a great friend to many.
He is survived by his brother, D. Stephen (Catherine) Webster of Wooster; nieces, Mary W. (Arthur) Haan and Melinda W. (Mark) Sattele; and a nephew D. Stuart (Allison) Webster; seven grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and his adopted family, Jim, Melissa and Kyleigh Buhl.
Ned was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at the Ashland Cemetery on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Sanford Mitchell officiating.
