Max L. Berry, 80, 5776 N. County Road 1150 East, Forest, died at 7:57 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, in Howard Regional Health System, Kokomo. He was born May 14, 1926, in Forest Township in Clinton County, the son of Ophir J. and L. Waneta (Brammell) Berry. On Feb. 3, 1950, in West Point Christian Church, he married Betty M. (Oilar) Berry.
He retired after 31 years as a Warren County manager and service representative for Farm Bureau Insurance. He was a 1944 graduate of Forest High School and a 1950 graduate of Purdue University. He was a current member of West Point Christian Church, where he served as a deacon and a former member of Williamsport Christian Church and served as a deacon and former Lions Club member. He lived in Williamsport for 34 years moving back to Forest in 1994.
