Durwood (Dewey) Bryant is the son of Edward & Emma Clark Bryant of Vernon, MI.
Although never married Dewey was a well known Artist and photographer in the Shiawassee Co. area. Having a photo studio in Vernon and in Owosso. He painted lovely portraits and landscapes of the people and the area around Vernon. He was also known as The Singing Evangelist for his wonderful voice as he sung the word of God at many churches in the area. He tragically died at the age of 42 years at home of a sudden heart attack. T
