Joseph D. Wilson, 79, of Concord, passed away April 22, 2012 surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was born September 9, 1932 in Reed City, Michigan to Samuel and Della (Biers) Wilson.

He married Virginia Smith on December 13, 1954 in Herrin, Illinois and she survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He worked for the Sperling Co in Reed City, before moving to the Albion area in 1959. He went to work for Paul Duncan, Inc. in 1962 working as an oil field technician until retiring in 1994 after 32 years. He is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Albion. He enjoyed Gardening, Woodworking, and his Grandchildren.

Besides his wife of 57 years Virginia, he is survived by 2 Daughters Donna (Andrew) Moyer; Carol Wilson; 1 Son David (Tonya) Wilson ; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Sister Elsie Wilson ; and 1 Brother Benjamin C. Wilson. H
He was preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Sister Margaret Pratt.

Burial will follow at Pulaski Cemetery, Pulaski Twp, MI
