DUMAS - (HC) - Funeral services for Maurice P. Freeman, 45, are pending with Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Freeman died at 12:40 p.m. yesterday in Dmas Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was employed as a butcher at Piggly Wiggly store in Dumas where he was a resident for seven years. He was a member of Dumas Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie, of the home address, 107 Spruce; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Raymond of Dumas; a grandson, Allen Wayne; three brothers, I.H. of Odessa, H.W. of Morgan City, La., Jerald of California; two step-sisters, Mrs. Ruby Langford, Gardenia, Cal., Mrs. Hazel Graber, San Antonio; one step-brother, R.R. Lawrence of Borger.

DUMAS - (Special) - Funeral services for Maurice P. Freeman, 45, of 107 Spruce in Dumas, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Clifford B. Trotter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Dumas.

Freeman died at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday in the Dumas Memorial Hospital. He had been a resident of Dumas for the past seven years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Raymond of Dumas; three brothers, I.L. Freeman of Odessa, H.W. Freeman of Morgan City, Louisiana, and Gerald Freeman of California; two step-sisters, Mrs. Ruby Langford of Gardena, California, and Mrs. Hazel Graber of San Antonio; one step-brother, R.R. Lawrence of Borger; and one grandson. He is the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Anderson of Dumas.
