Ken McKnight Succumbs at Albany Home
Kenneth Alan McKnight, 58, 206 A. Ingleside Dr., died Saturday night at his residence following a long illness. Mr. McKnight had lived in Albany 13 months. Before his retirement, he worked for the San Diego County Welfare Department, Vista, Calif.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marine Corps, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Vista, Calif.
He was born Sept. 20, 1915 in Duluth, Minn., the son of the late Grace Wilson McKnight and Alexander G. McKnight. Survivors include his wife; the former Miss Gladys Collins McKnight of Albany; a daughter, Mrs. Marion (Marcia) Walls of Albany; four sons, Robert A. McKnight, Scott W. McKnight, Donald G. McKnight and John R. McKnight, all of Vista, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Isabella McKnight Weld of Dulth, Minn., and eight grandchildren. The remains will be cremated. Memorial services will be held in the Vista Chapel Mortuary, Vista, Calif., following cremation at a time to be announced. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walls, 1606 Highland Ave. Kembrell-Stern Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
