He married August 27, 1761 in Rochester Massachusetts.

Percival served under Captain Levi Rounsevill at Lexington, which marched on the alarm of April 19,
1775, he served 3 days. Percival also a lieutenant under Captain Joseph Horton. Percival was one of several officers of the Massachusetts Militia commissioned August 10, 1779.
