NEWELL D. HENSON
CASSVILLE - Funeral services for Newell D. Henson, 66, Cassville, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Chapel here with the Revs. Hugh Higgs and Roy Williamson officiating. Burial will take place in Qak Hill Cemetery here.
A lifelong resident of Barry County, Mr. Henson died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday in Burge-Protestant Hospital, Springfield, where he had been a patient 10 weeks. A retired farmer, he had been employed the past four years as custodian in the Barry County courthouse.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl; three sons, Tommy, of the home. Gene, Cassville, and Charles D., Santa Ana, Calif.; and four daughters, Mrs. Wanda Lee Williamson, Oakland, Ore., Mrs. Wilma Ruth Decker and Mrs. Lily Jane Brooks, both of Santa Ana, and Mrs. Betty Egnew. Orange, Calif.
Other survivors include a brother. Oryille, Cassville; five sisters, Mrs. Alta Davis, Wichita Kan., Mrs Allie Holloway and Mrs. Violet Lee, both of Cassville, Mrs. Alma Terry, Kansas City, and Mrs. Lola Terry, Verona, and 16 grandchildren.
