Mass of Christian Burial was said for Mrs. Frances Eback, 70, of Brinsmade at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devils Lake with Father Augustin Edele officiating. Interment was in St. James Cemetery at Minnewaukan.

Scripture service was at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Burke Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Eback died at her home Thursday morning.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Wentz was born Feb. 15, 1904 at Esmond. She attende Esmond school.

In 1922 she married George Eback at Esmond. They farmed near Esmond and resided at Baker before moving to a farm near Minnewaukan in 1944. Mr. Eback died in 1961.

Surviving are eight sons: Anton, Leo, John and Joe, all of Devils Lake, Bernard and George of Brinsmade, Mike of Esmond, and Art of Tacoma; six daughters: Delores (Mrs. George Bingham) of Brinsmade, Helen (Mrs. Ray Nelson) of Puyallup, Wash., Pauline (Mrs. Edward Zettler) of Neenah, Wisc., Frances (Mrs. John Kraft) of Devils Lake, Theresa (Mrs. Peter Kraft) and Lorraine (Mrs. John Zettler) both of St. Michael; 87 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven brothers: Matt of Esmond, Nick and Tony both of Minnewaukan, Bernard and Gabe of Harvey, John of Devils Lake, Wendelin of Alberta, Canada; three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Aggie) Keller of Minot, Mrs. Lena Fettig of Rugby and Mrs. Mike (Elsie) Schwan of Grand Forks.
