FORT WORTH - Esther Clemens Kennington, 86, a homemaker, died Thursday at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel in Fort Worth.

Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kennington was born June 1, 1909, in Mena, Ark. She was a member of Englewood Methodist Church.

When she was younger, she was also a member of the Ladies Lions Club.

She enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Survivors: Sons, Carroll Franklin Kennington of Cleburne, Thomas Paul Kennington of Granbury and Richard Earl Kennington Jr. of Azle; daughters, Ruth M. Stanford of Millsap and Lena Kennington Harmond of Crowley; sister, Frankie Clemens Bottoms of Ada, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; dear friend and companion, Henry Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
