Jacob Ramsour Warlick, #8974789, was born in 1859; died in 1935; buried at Daniel's Chapel Cemetery, Lincoln County, North Carolina.


He married Lelia Emma Wharton,1 #8974800, daughter of Malvina Ruth Donnell (1823-1902) and Thomas Green Wharton (1822-1882). She was born in Guilford Co., NC,
February 21, 1861; died in Lincolnton, Lincoln Co., NC, June 19, 1941; buried at Daniel's Chapel Cemetery, Lincoln Co., NC.


Jacob was the last Warlick to operate the mill that Daniel Warlock had founded in 1750.  Jacob sold it in 1921 to C. C. Dalton, who operated it for twenty years before tearing it down to build a flour mill in Cherryville, Gaston County, North Carolina.
