Mrs. Carrie W. Wallace
Dies at Home in Guilford

Mrs. Carrie Josephine Walts Wallace. 64 years old, died at 3:45 o' clock this morning at her home in Guilford. She had been bedfast, three years and five months.

Mrs. Wallace, a life time resident of the Guilford community, was a member of the Methodist church. She was married July 4, 1896 to Charles E. Wallace.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Hunt, Oakland, Calif; and Mrs. Edra Leava, St. Joseph; five sons, Orvis Wallace, Des Moines, Ia; Wilburn Wallace, Glendale, Ariz; Merlin Wallace, of the navy, Farragut, Idaho; Eugene Wallace, Savannah and Norman Wallace, Auburn, Neb.; one sister, Mrs. J.J. Matzinger, St. Joseph: six brothers, Earl and Guy Walts, Lakeside, Neb; Ralph Walts, Omaha; Lee Walts, state of Wyoming; Harry Walts, Saskatchewan, Canada, and Roy Walts, Tacoma, Wash., and twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Guilford and burial will be in the Graves cemetery. Other arrangements are pending word from the son in service.
