Mrs. Taylor leaves an eleven-year-old daughter, Etta, who is a pupil at the St. Mary's school. She was informed of the accident this noon and will be taken care of by Mrs. Cleve Bogue of 1015 East Third Street.
Mrs. Taylor's father is Cleve Bogue and his wife is a stepmother of the deceased. Mr. Bogue is working at Nutwood, but Mrs. Bogue has taken charge of the affairs of the unfortunate victim of the accident. She had the remains identified and sent for the husband and father. Coroner Simms will come and hold an inquest.
Mrs. Taylor was on the way to the grocery store this morning when struck by the train. She stopped to speak to several neighbors as she went up Illinois Avenue and seemed in good spirits.
The path on the south side of the tracks, between Washington and Illinois avenue, is known as a dangerous one, but it is used a great deal as it cuts off a bit of the distance.
