"MRS. KATHERINE A. CURRAN
---------------------------------
Mrs. Katherine Aicklen Curran, widow of John Curran, died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday morning at Covington, after an illness of several months, and while it was known that the lady was sick, no fears for her recovery were entertained by a large circle of friends.

Mrs. Curran was born in this city forty years ago, and when her ailment seemed of an alarming character, last December, she was taken to Covington, as it was hoped that the fine ozone air would be the means of restoring her to health.

Mrs. Curran died a faithful Catholic, and when the end came a devoted priest of the church was at her bedside. The body was brought over to the city last evening, and the funeral will take place this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the residence of Mrs. G. K. Hammer, her close friend, 1807 North Rampart Street. The services will be conducted in Sts. Peter and Paul's Church, and interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Curran is survived by a daughter, Miss Eleanor Curran; two sons, Audley and Cedric Curran; a brother, Harry Aicklen, and two sisters, Mrs. A. Addatto and Mrs. Cora Glazener. Mrs. Curran was a loving and indulgent mother, and her chief care was always of her children. She was also of a kind and gentle disposition, and had many friends who admired her for her sterling qualities and integrity."
