Linda was the oldest of 6 children born to Gus and Mary Isensee. She married Carl "Ernest" Ender in 1922 and they had 5 children: Dorothy, Raymond, Margaret, Nelda and Hilda. Linda grew up in the Lutheran church but was later baptized in the Baptist church as an adult. Linda married Brad H. Gibbs in 1940. They resided in California during part of their 10 year marriage. Mr Gibbs died in 1950. Linda was later married to Basil A. DeSelm.
