Mrs. Dey was a native of Norfolk and was the widow of John Furman Dey; they were married for 52 years. Mrs. Dey was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include four nieces, Betty Sue Harrell, Ann Goodhart, Janice Burlage, Nancy Forbes Lathrop; a great-nephew, Sam Harrell; a great-niece, Claire Haislip; one great-great-niece, Alexis Elizabeth Harrell; and two great- great-nephews, Sean Haislip and Ian Haislip.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church in Norfolk by the Rev. Charles K. Blalock. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk. The family will receive friends at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Norfolk Chapel Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 800 Olney Road, Norfolk, VA 23507.
