Ruben Lamb Farley, retired farmer and school bus driver for Eupora High School, died February 27 at Webster General Hospital after a short illness. He was 57.
Funeral services were held February 28 at West Shady Grove Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. J. H Sherman officiated, assisted by the Rev. Robert Grady Dorroh, Burial was in the Church Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Herbert Bailey, Joe Bailey, George Bailey, Jr., Ralph Bailey, Billy No- bile, and Jimmy Nobile.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Earsel B. Farley of Eupora; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Gary of Raymond; two sons, Fred Farley and Jimmy Farley, both of Eupora; two sisters, Mrs. George Bailey of Tomnolen and Mrs. Gus Nobile of Moorehead; a brother, Bruce Farley of Texarkana, Texas. Eight grandchildren survive.
